Shopper Would this bag be used as a travel bag?
Miyuki S Not as appropriate for check in baggage. Great for a boat dive and to take IN your luggage for use at your destination.
KERRY C No, this is not a travel bag. This is a great bag for throwing in the back of your car and driving to the location, but not for flight travel. I feel the airlines would destroy this bag. It's purpose is to transport the wet equipment, not offer any protection.
Zachary S Depends. I use it for travel if its me driving but I would want something more sturdier for a trip threw an airport it is only mesh and could rip open
MARC P I pack it in with my scuba gear IN my travel bag, and then when I get to my dive site, I transport my gear to the boat in this bag. It's mesh, so it's not suitable to check as baggage
DEWAYNE C The Scubapro bag is excellent for travel.
EARTH L Might not be a good idean since it is mesh unless you can keep an eye on it. Primarily designed for a dive boat or the beach.
KEITH S This bag is not intended as luggage on a plane/train. It is soft sided and your gear would be visible to any and all at a casual glance. It does not offer any protection from damage, or security in any sense. It is meant only to hold dive gear on the way to or from a dive site, or to consolidate your gear on the boat.
JASON P The bag that I purchased is mesh which enables the content to be seen. I use my bag to store my gear and use to transfer and hold the gear until I get on the boat. I have never used it or would use it to store my gear for transport on a plane or anytime that it will not be in my possession. Keep in mind this bag does not provide any protection to the gear inside.
KENNETH K This bag is a great gear bag for the boat to keep your gear in one place. It is also a great bag to use after a dive to rinse your gear by dunking your equipment in fresh water. Since the bag lets water in and out, it would not be a good bag for other travel, like on a airplane since everyone would see your gear. It also would get. Everyone else's gear wet if used after a dive. I hope this helps
