MK 17 First Stage
The MK17's balanced diaphragm offers you peace of mind with it smooth breathing mechanisms and maximum performance that doesn't diminish as your air supply does. SCUBAPRO outfitted the MK17 with a dry ambient chamber, which means no water will sneak into the 1st stage and wreak havoc while you're at depth. The Thermal Insulating System (TIS) & anti-freeze system protect the internal mechanisms from freezing, even in icy diving environments.
R290 Second Stage
This R290 second stage is preceded by the R190. Actually it is the R190 in a smaller version, The R290 is extremely lightweight and comfortable, and suits ladies and children divers. This second stage's downstream highly design is dependable and ready to work. The R290 also has the user-controlled Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assistant (VIVA). The VIVA system reduces the amount of effort divers expend when breathing
