This is just junk. Look closely at the way it attaches now figure your swapping tanks between dives trying to hold up the pony as you swap main tanks. Save yourself the aggravation and pass on this item. I tossed mine into the dive junk bin. Now I wait for a PONY TAMER.

inexpensive and easy to use. simply clamp the bottle to the bracket (i put tank mess around the bottle to prevent scratching) the pics shows mesh but it does not come with it. them slide onto main tank strap and away you go. only possible draw back is that you cannot adjust the height of the pony on the main tank. but it was not an issue for me.

I use this product when I travel because I can't use my Pony Tamer on rental tanks when I travel. Gets the job done. Added rubber extrusion to protect tanks from SS bands. Junk review sold me. I showed my dive store this product. Now they rent them with their Pony Tanks as well as sell them. Better pricing here from L.P.
Good Product/Needs Tank Strap

The bracket is nicely made, but lacks portability. You have to unthread your tank strap, then thread thru the bracket. basically its a permanent addition to your BCD. I'd recommend using a second tank strap for greater ease of use and flexibility. To make the system work your total cost is the bracket plus additional strap-still economical.

I use the Poseidon W50 bcd which has two cam straps. Being the obsessive person I am, two of these x-brackets were ordered. The price of both of them together doesn't even come near to the prices of some of the others that claim to be the "most supporting." After getting them both in, and attaching them to my rig, I found that you MOST DEFINITELY only need one of these things. I was pleasantly surprised to find this out. Definitely worth [$]!
