DESCRIPTION
The 3D Flex Dry Snorkel is the original dry snorkel. The unique floating valve system that closes on contact with water is the heart of this dry snorkel. When you see something on the bottom you want to get a closer look at using a conventional snorkel once you submerge your snorkel tube floods with water. Not so with the 3D Flex Dry Snorkel. The float prevents water from entering the snorkel tube keeping it dry for your return to the surface.

Nothing else compares with the dryness of this specially designed snorkel. Once you have returned to the surface the float falls away from the tube opening allowing water free breathing again. You won't need to "blast" the water out like with other snorkels, just breathe in and you good to go. Snorkel is designed for comfort with its patented adjustable mouthpiece with dual ball joint and corrugated lower tube. The snorkel is also equipped with a one-way purge valve at the bottom of the snorkel which allows any residual water to drain out as you breathe easy.

FEATURES
  • The original DRY snorkel. Nothing else compares!
  • Unique floating valve system closes on contact with water
  • Dry top opens automatically upon surfacing to eliminate vacuum effect
  • Patented adjustable mouthpiece with dual ball joints
  • Drop-away corrugated silicone tube allows mouthpiece out-of-way when Scuba diving

This snorkel is actually Dry! I used it on several scuba dives plus snorkeling in the Bahamas and was very pleased. It stayed out of the way while diving as a snorkel should and the keeper, while a little hard to get on the mask, held up. The swivel design of the mouthpiece (ball & socket) works very well, no fatigue and in fact, my wife liked it so much, she took it for herself - looks like I'll be buying another one. The only negatives are that it breathes just a little harder than a straight tube, but really not much of a difference and is not a big deal.

    Good for Sall People

This is a great product for average people.
However, if you start raising your heart rate and demanding more air you don't get it. The snorkel is restrictive.

The minute I got in the water it started leaking ! After playing with it in the middle of the ocean I realized that the purge valve was leaking ! Not cool. I would like to think that it was just a bad snorkel in the bunch and NOT the series itself. It did come with a 10 year warranty, so i will be returning it asap.

Comments about XS Scuba M-Line Snorkel 3D Flex Dry:

I snorkel weekly and it is a lot drier than my old snorkel. Not totally dry in heavy windchop, which is to be expected, but is pretty close. Very easy to purge. The only downside is that I need a smaller mouthpiece. Other than that it was worth the money.

Comments about XS Scuba M-Line Snorkel 3D Flex Dry:

I personally didn't like this snorkel for spearfishing. Water kept coming in through the purge valve causing me to swallow on an inhale every now and then.

I found myself biting harder on the mouth piece to keep it from moving, which caused fatigue in my jaw. However, the mouthpiece was soft and comfortable, I was just overcompensating for snorkel movement.

Also, the flexible material is a bit too soft/flexible and causes the snorkel to move with every wave. I'll be going back to my standard J US Divers snorkel that i bought 3 years ago.
