About Me Casual/ Recreational
Comments about Underwater Kinetics Rechargeable Kit For Light Cannon 100:
LP emailed me a question another person had asked: "A shopper is looking for an answer from a fellow customer about Underwater Kinetics Rechargeable Kit For Light Cannon 100. Since you bought this on January 26, 2007, we thought you might be able to help them. A shopper asked: Is this the same as the universal battery, can i use it with the aquasun eled? Answer: I own both a UK Light Cannon HID and a UK AquaSun eLED. The rechargeable battery I bought from LP for the HID is identical to the battery that came with the eLED. Both have part number Z390349 on them. Bill F.

About Me Recreational Diver
The battery charger system works very well and holds a strong charge a long time. It would be an added bonus if there were a little more scientific way of determing a full charge.
Works great! Held charge very well.
Would be great if it had a more presice way of knowing that the charge was complete.
Recharge Kit for Light Canon 100

About Me Advanced Diver
The recharge kit is the only way to go — other than having a bag of individually rechargeable batteries. Still, it's amazing that they don't use a charger with an automatic shut-off for such an expensive light. Instructions say to charge the battery pack for 10-12 hours or until batteries are warm to the touch. Not very specific & definitely little protection from overcharging and damaging the batteries.Sadly, U.K. doesn't sell the charger or battery pack separate. When one goes, you need to buy both. I now have two battery packs as someone decided they needed my previous charger more than I. Although I didn't plan for it, this lets me have a fully-charged battery pack for a night dive after using the light all day. (I've never drained the batteries enough to need to change batteries during a day of dives.)[...]
