I bought this regulator after reading a lot of reviews. When I told my instructor what I had bought, he said, "That's pretty good, but you should have gone up to the next level." Well, I was a little concerned, but after doing a 100' and 40' today, I was glad I bought this one.

I can confirm that this system delivers fantastic breathing performance at an affordable price. I used the RS-510 for more than a year on 100+ dives, and during that time it performed flawlessly. I have since upgraded to a more expensive and lighter Tusa sytem, but I still keep the S10 (2nd stage) in my bag as an emergency backup part.

If the S10 had a swivel joint, you could completely forget about it during a dive--that's how easy the breathing is. Thus, I might suggest ordering flexible hose, which LeisurePro can test and assemble for you.

In summary, I highly recommend the Tusa RS-510 to newer divers who are ready to purchase their first regulator and intend to do a lot of diving on vacations and liveaboards.

Used this reg. during my rescue diver training in warm shallow coastal water. Very comfortable and easy breathing. Still have to use it on deeper dives, but so far so good. I believe this was an excellent buy as my instructor told me.
