I love the computer. Easy to read and the countdown timer gives you peace of mind. Pretty easy to operate. The quick-disconnect is a must-have to help you protect your computer. It comes with a great compass as well. The product manual is not very well written, luckily you can figure the computer out just by playing with it. Make sure you check the factory settings - the deep alarm is supposed to be set for 100 ft, but mine was at 330 before I changed it.

If you have the Quick Disconnect, do not put this computer in a bucket of fresh water to soak unless it is pressurized. Also, do not put computer in water after changing out the battery unless you first pressurize the computer. Otherwise, the computer is toast, and the screens will freeze up. Sherwood will offer you to trade it in for a "great deal" on a new dive computer.

Comments about Sherwood CG7125 2008 Wisdom 2 Dive Computer with Compass and Quick Disconnect:

I bought this computer to replace a much simpler Genesis that was stolen. I really prefer the Genesis. The Wisdom has so many alarms that it's all but impossible to figure out why it's nagging you, which it often does. I have turned them all off except the safety stop which is handy, but really unnecessary. If you can't manage your dive knowing your NDL and tank pressure, maybe you should stick to snorkeling.

    Service and delivery comments:

The display started going bonkers after 4 dives, with partial darkening of segments that should have been completely off. The unit is at Sherwood now; I'm hoping they can make it right.

Comments about Sherwood CG7125 2008 Wisdom 2 Dive Computer with Compass and Quick Disconnect:

Ordered two of these for my wife and I shortly after being certified. One had a bad display right out of the box, and was replaced immediately. The other died unexpectedly after less than a year of use. Sherwood's dive-log software is also old and buggy, and requires a $80 proprietary cable (no included).

The computer itself is great when it works, but I can't say my experience matches Sherwood's claim of "rugged durability".

    Service and delivery comments:

I ordered two units. One had a bad display right out of the box. Sherwood has no customer service available on their website. If this unit dies on you, you will have to send it back to Leisurepro and wait 6 weeks for warranty work.

Comments about Sherwood CG7125 2008 Wisdom 2 Dive Computer with Compass and Quick Disconnect:

I was very pleased with my Wisdom II, right up to the point where it went belly up on my after about 200 dives (< 2.5 years). A friend of mine has similar experience with his (died at about 200 dives). The Wisdom II exceeded all of my expectiations in terms of functionality and ease of use, but I would certainly expect it to last far longer than it did.

Comments about Sherwood CG7125 2008 Wisdom 2 Dive Computer with Compass and Quick Disconnect:

Good computer. I have been diving with it for just about a year on 60 dives and it has been a good purchase thus far. Mechanically, it did have an air leak between the connection hose and the computer itself, but it was able to be fixed in the field and that has been the only problem so far. Easy to operate with only the two buttons. Nice large number format and changing between nitrox (and the subsequent NO2 setting) and regular ar is easy...once you have done it a few times.
Only complaint is that the nitrogen tissue loading
bar graphs on the side are not very intuitive.
However, on the plus side, the computer is generous in its algorythm, so you won't be the first person popping to the surface because of an extremely conservative no-deco profile. All in all, I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this computer.
