DESCRIPTION
Sherwood Scuba reputation is built on rugged reliability. The new Wisdom 2 is a direct reflection of Sherwood's commitment to this world-renowned reputation. Sherwood has taken their best computer and made it better, stronger and more reliable.

The Wisdom 2 displays tank pressure on the bottom of the screen in large, easy-to-read numbers. Above the tank pressure are displays for dive time, depth, max depth and other data. Along the side of the display are bar graphs that give a quick visual reference for nitrogen and oxygen loading.

    I love the computer. Easy to read and the countdown timer gives you peace of mind. Pretty easy to operate. The quick-disconnect is a must-have to help you protect your computer. It comes with a great compass as well. The product manual is not very well written, luckily you can figure the computer out just by playing with it. Make sure you check the factory settings - the deep alarm is supposed to be set for 100 ft, but mine was at 330 before I changed it.

    I bought two of these. My wife's failed after 13 dives and mine failed after 50 dives (one month's dive time).

    It took Sherwood 3 months to repair and return to me, and all they could say is "you must have got water in it". I think it is a POOR company that blames the customer for shoddy workmanship and defective products!

    I have 6 other Sherwood set-ups for my students/divers use and have had problems with breakage and have had to rebuild them after less than 30 dives.

    I am a Professional Diver who knows how to take care of gear - my livelihood depends upon it !!!

    This AIN'T the same Sherwood Company that it used to be - and the quality absolutely SUX !!!

    IF you buy one of these units you BETTER add a REDUNDANT set of analog gauages because when the Wisdom 2 fail you lose all your dive data (bottom time, air remaining, depth, et cetera) !!!

    They shut-off under water ... failed to water activate ... finally even refused to activate at all! What a waste of money!

    On the good side, the numbers (when they work) are easy to see, but the Manaual is awkward to understand.

      Comments about Sherwood CG9105 Wisdom 2 Dive Computer with Compass:

      Pros: I love the air integrated feature and the remaining air time feature. The display is large, easy to read. I have no problem of what so ever with the compass. It works like a charm when I have to navigate under water.

      Cons: The instruction manual, though the print is much larger and easier on the eye to read than some other manuals I've seen in the past, it is still darn confusing to read. I don't know who write these manuals, they're horrible to follow. Another gripe I have is that it seems to display only air temperature when reviewing your dive history. It does not display water temp or surface temp like my Oceanic wristwatch dive computer does. The next time I dive, I will have to have both on me.

        Great backlighting. Easy to read. Ergonomic and low profile. The Quick Detach is a must have. I do recommend putting some hose caps on when the computer is detached from the hose though. The compass is really good and easy to dial in and read, even in low visibility. I have used with air and Nitrox EAN36 with no problems. Easy to program. Study the manual and get used to it before you dive. You shouldn't be learning how to use your computer while deeper than about 20 feet.
