DESCRIPTION
Totally redesigned to provide outstanding breathing performance, the Brut maintains dedication to rugged reliability combined with ease of maintenance. The Brut has been the overwhelming favorite for Beginners and rental applications for decades because of its simple reliability.

Brut's first-stage is a Balanced Flow-By Piston Design, which is a "Fail Safe" mechanism, with a patented Dry Seal internal mechanism to keep the intricate components clean and contaminate free no matter what kind of environment you dive it in, constructed from Marine Grade Chrome Plated Brass for long life and durability.

The Brut Second-Stage boasts a large Diaphragm and Exhaust Vale for optimal response to inhalation and decreased exhalation resistance. Brut's Precision-Ground Stainless Steel Cam and Delrin Lever give smooth effortless breathing. It's HighImpact Housing for rugged applications make the Brut one great choice for any avid diving enthusiast.

        My son and I are recreational divers. Our 5 or 6 dives are the highlights of our summer. We chose the brut regulators because we scanned the internet and found that the rebuild kits are the easiest ones to find. There are also no adjustments to make. They breath easy under the thermoclines in rock quarries where the water is about as deep and cold as we ever get: 65 dgrees, 60 feet. We are hoping for years of trouble free use, but knowing that there are so many rebuild kits out there is nice too.

              eventhough i wanted the original brut version i was ent this new one. biggest drawback for me is the very heavy 1st stage. it is a back up reg on a pony bottle so travel weight is an issue. tried it at depth and seemed to breath just fine. no complaints on function.

                      While I live and dive in warm sea-water this is a wonderful reg. The second stage started to freeflow a little, but I returned it to LeisurePro and they quickly adjusted it an returned it. A great deal and I am happy.
