Whats in the box:Pair of Seasoft Sunray 3 mm Low Cut Boots with Zipper

SEASOFT's SUNRAY Booties are considered by the US Military, Professional and Recreational Divers to be the Very-Best. The SEASOFT Sunrays are a Warm Water Version of the Stealth Boots and will deliver the same performance but in a 3 mm Version with a Mid-Top Fit! And it has the same great arch support. Cramps are an issue for most divers. Soft-Soled Dive Booties cause the Foot to Flex-Continuously inside the Foot Pocket of their Fins Causing Cramps. Most divers think this is an inevitable price to pay to dive or snorkel, it's not! SEASOFT uses a Hard Sole when manufacturing their Boots. This eliminates the Up-and-Down Motion of the Foot inside the Foot Pocket of your Fins that causes Cramping.

All SEASOFT Boots have a Hard Sole that inside the Fin Foot Pocket gives you Complete-Control of your Fins. Be more Comfortable-and-Faster because you use your thighs, calves and buttocks, the big muscle groups, to provide your power to move you through the water. By bypassing these small muscles, SEASOFT Booties use the large muscle groups to powerfully move you through the water. SEASOFT Booties have a money back guarantee - if you get cramps, we will send you another pair or you can return them. We have never had a diver return a pair! Another good reason to buy a SEASOFT bootie: Divers can easily carry over a hundred pounds of gear; should you be wearing bedroom slippers OR athletic footwear? The obvious answer, of course, is athletic footwear because an Elevated Heel and an Arch Support underneath the Sole of your Boot create Stability and Comfort. The Elevated Heel gives you the ability to Safely-Carry your Gear on Sand, Rocks and Lava, or on Wet Docks and Pitching Boat Decks. The Arch Support provides Stability and Supports the Foot and Ankle.

If you agree that Athletic Footwear is Important, you should be Wearing SEASOFT Diving Booties. SEASOFT's competitors LOOK Athletic from the outside but are not athletic where it counts, on the inside. If the heel is not raised, it's just a bedroom slipper! SEASOFT Diving Booties Utilize High-Quality Nylon ll Neoprene, a Fin Guard on the Heel of the Boot keeps your Fin Strap properly in place throughout the dive and the Heavy Duty Zipper is equipped with a Zip-Keeper. All Seams are Glued-with-Dry-Suit-Cement and are than Stitched with Heavy-Duty Thread for Strength and Durability. The Sunray Boots utilize a Glide-Skin Lining for Easy On/Off. So join the US Military, Police, Sheriff and Fire Departments and tens of thousands of other divers in discovering just how Warm, Comfortable, Safe and Effective you can be in SEASOFT Booties. Boots are Black in color and are covered by a 24 month limited warranty.

Bought these boots for my wife and I for our trip to Bonaire with its rugged shore entries. Boots worked great, protected our feet from the sharp rocks along the shoreline, the soles are nice and thick for great protection. The inner boot is very comfortable as well, we snorkeled with them for hours at a time with no discomfort. They were even durable enough to to withstand the cave tour we went on, they were our only footwear we had at the time and we were even able to to exit the cave climbing a rope with these boots as our only gripping surface on the rock face and they withstood that test as well. Very pleased with the quality of this boot.

My wife and I both own "regular" boots that we have used in the past for boat dives. Based on what we had read, we felt like we needed something with a thicker sole and more support for a Bonaire trip with lots of shore diving and hiking over coral/rocks/limestone.

After 10 days of use of these boots, we're both glad we got these boots and they were super comfy. A few observations:

-Size: I wear a men's size 9.5 shoe and the size 10 dive boot was a perfect size. It felt a little tight when I tried it on at home but, when wet, it was perfect. Given that these are low cut and don't hug your foot as firm as a high cut boot, I would not want the larger size that may be a little more roomy out of the water.

-Construction: Construction feels a little cheap and one of my boots has some separation between the sole and the back section after just this one trip. The bottom of the sole is thick and has a nice running like shoe pattern.

-Warmth: Can't comment as we bought these for warm water diving and they worked fine n water that ranged from 77-82 degrees.

-Fins: We both have the Tusa Expert Zoom Split fins. These boots as thick and you need to give your foot a good shove to adequately get the boot seated into the fin pocket but the boots do fit into the fins. On the plus side, there is no movement of the boot inside the fin. You do need to work a little at the end of the dive to ge the boot out of the fin pocket.

Comments about Seasoft Sunray 3mm Low Cut Boots with Zipper:

Perfect for the rocky, occasionally dangerous shores of bonaire. Grippy like some sort of under water combat boot.. Has a little spur on the back to keep the fin straps from sliding down..

          Warm even in frosty waters..

I love it.. It's my second pair..

          I will say this though.
It's held together by some sort of epoxy instead of stitching. So over time it sort of falls apart.. This is especially noticable if you're doing a bunch of diving in a short amount of time.. ie 30 dives a week.

Just keep in mind that the more the boot is constantly wet, the shorter that glue will last.. Figure 1 year of constant use.. 3 years if you're a once a month diver..

Comments about Seasoft Sunray 3mm Low Cut Boots with Zipper:

Purchased these boots mid summer and used them for shore dives as well as on boat trips. The boots are extremely comfortable and are perfect for walking on a rocky surface while carrying dive equipment. The fit is slightly on the large side however and required a little effort to remove from my current fins.
