        Vast Improvement over the original design. Had to repair the oiginal several times becouse the fiber optic cable would kink. The new design has built in 45 degree angles which prevent that stress. Wish it came with a Stainless Steel leash so if its snagged in rough seas you wont lose it like I did the original. Going to use a fishing leader.

                  Using the sync cord defintiely made a difference in photo quality. The flash goes off everytime with the direct connection. In the past it was hit or miss when the flash would fire, sometimes causing me to miss great shots. That problem no longer exists with this cord - definitely worth the cost.

                    In addition, you need the gromet that comes w/ Strobe Mask Set & the special strobe attachment that allows the L-cord to attach to the strobe sensor (another $25).
