This kayak has lots of room and payload, enough to take two adults and two children (two seven year olds will fit easily). Tracking is excellent, and the kayak is the fastest I rember using. Despite its 17 length it's easy to maneuver, and it can readily be used as a single seater. It's stable enough to easily get in from the water, e.g. for swimmers and scuba divers. It may also be an alternative to a diveyak. Although I haven't tried with full scuba gear yet, I imagine the same exit and entry prodedures that apply for a Zodiac (i.e. put the BCD in the water first and strap in while swimming, on exit leave BCD in the water and lift it into the kayak after you're in) will work with this kayak.
Transporting is convenient, because folded up it's the size of a large suitcase, although fairly heavy. No roofracks needed, it can just go into the trunk of the car. I recommend getting a footpump, because pumping up the large chambers with the included high pressure pump takes a while. Also, two people can work on setting the kayak up with the extra pump. Setup time with two persons and two pumps is 15 min or less, one can get the kayak into the water in 20 to 25 min.
I highly recommend this kayak, but you may want to go one size smaller if you're not moving large loads or several children.
