Comments about Sealife SL970 Wide-Angle Lens:

Easy to attach/detach--even with gloves (I wear 5mm). Provides good increase in photo/video area capture. Lens has a good weight to it which helps counter the buoyancy of the Sealife camera.

Downside if you attach at surface, air pockets can form affecting your photos. Problem is eliminated if you attach underwater. Also, neoprene lens cover is nice, but impossible to put back on underwater with gloves.

I lost mine before the divelast year, so i have been looking to replace it since. I ordered it and one day later it was on my doorstep. Now I just need to get it wet.

This is a great lens. Before I got this lens I had trouble keeping my subject in view while scuba diving. Now my video's are all great. Also there is no need for the camera weight accessory since the weight of the lens takes the place of the weight.

Great addition to any Sea Life camera. Used on 5 dives in Maui, one with a proffesional photographer and he even said that the wide angle lense is the most important feature in an underwater camera besides the Strobe.

Have DC 600 with wide angle lense and digital flash. Have shot thousands of pictures over last couple of years. Lense snaps on easy and has slave cord to prevent dropping in water. Suggest the docking station which is mounted to bottom of base used for flash. Just be careful you remove any air bubbles which sometimes form if mounting lense when above water. Lastly, the only problem I have is rounding of image as lense obscures very corners of pictures. Other than that, a great lense for macros, where digitals take their best pictures.
