I was diving with visibility of max. 40 feet in the pacific. It was very dark even on shallow dives. This light helped me see and focus on a better photo.

Comments about Sealife Underwater Photo Video LED Light SL980:

This product has been so disappointing. I have gone through 2 and I am about to send it back to SEALIFE for my money back. The first one I owned leaked, no idea from where as the O-rings were in perfect shape. This problem occurred again on the second one I own and this time it caused my batteries to explode. Now the light won't turn off at all. It would be a great product if it didn't leak, but it does. So put your money elsewhere until Sealife gets it figured out.

I bought a total of three...one functioned for a 66.7% failure rate. The other two both leaked through the operating button. This was on the first dive; 15 feet at blue heron bridge in Riviera Beach FL.
