DESCRIPTION
The Shotgun Snorkel has been around almost as long as Scubapro itself. This tried and true design has been serving the needs of scuba and snorkel divers alike for many years. Continuously improved upon design has evolved to still be a great choice of snorkel. The twin purge valve's simplifies the process of clearing water from the snorkel tube with increased efficiency over traditional single valve snorkels. The contoured shape increases comfort along with its soft silicone mouthpiece. Snorkel is equipped with a quick-connect keeper that attaches to almost every mask strap with ease.

    Maximum air suction for free divers - easiest purge ever. Rough handling may dislodge the purge valve below the mouthpiece. It is easy to put back in place.

    The purge valve goes straight down and is a very short distance from the mouth piece. As you breath, the purge allows water to build up and eventually you breath it in. If you try to purge it out, more water enters the snorkel. Not a good idea. Some of the other models have the purge off to the side...those styles work better. Snorkels designed similiar to this one are a bad idea.

        The design of this product is excellent, low profile, short, large airway, 2 good valves, easy to clear (but easy to flood in rough water,(the short length and open end is something to get used to). I started with no valve, no purge, straight tube. After about 1000 miles and mastery of this, the above product is perfect!! The new retention clip is easy, but not as strong as the original (thin plastic spine can break on water entry)

        This is a very good snorkel. I got it when I first started diving, got a different one then gave the new one away and went back to the scuba pro. It has never let me down so far. The only thing I would say before buying this is that it is very short for a snorkel so it may not be right for all situations.
