DESCRIPTION
This octopus offers an ideal balance of quality, comfort, and reliability. The R295 regulator's downstream valve means you can dive breathing easily - both literally and figuratively. The R295 has a reversible hose action, which means it will accommodate your buddy, regardless of he/she is right or left-handed. The highly-visible yellow color means your octopus can be seen - even in less than perfect water conditions; in emergency situations, the last thing you want is an octopus that can't be easily found.

The R295's streamline design, minimal weight, and orthodontic silicone mouthpiece mean jaw fatigue and pain won't be a hindrance for your buddy while he/she is breathing via your octopus. The streamline shape also means the experience of gear drag is a thing of the past. Just as important as the R295's smooth diaphragm action is SCUBAPRO's guarantee of unsurpassed quality and workmanship.

This VIVA-patented system uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver-adjustable on all current SCUBAPRO second stages.

      Well known Scubapro quality at a reasonable price. Used... well... didn't have to use it on a recent trip to Roatan. I did take a couple of breathes at depth and it worked well and easily.

          Great compact Octopus. Breathes well. Comes with a nice clip system that allows you to clip to BCD to keep it handy but out of the way. Removes and inserts into the clip easily. Only use ScubaPro Regs.

            I upgraded my 1st & 2nd stage regulators last year and used a new G250 spare for my octopus. It leaked constantly; no problems, but annoying. I bought the R295 on sale and am very happy I did so. Good design with the performance and reliability I expect from Scubapro regulators. Highly recommended!

              This reg appears to make a great back up. We used the same one during the OW course. I haven't had to use it yet and hope I never have to, other than my buddy check. It seem comfortable, easy to use, and reliable. It was a great buy for the money. Scubapro name and reputation, without breaking the bank. So far, I can't see any negatives. Great reg for the money!
