The Torrent LED Dive Light was designed for the diver who wants high performance in a smaller package. With its 3-Watt Max-Bright LED, the Torrent LED is a small enough for looking into tiny crevices but has the power to be a primary dive light if needed. This 8 AA Cell Battery (included) dive light is excellent for local diving or for putting in your gear bag for vacation travel.

The durable LED bulb will last about 10,000 hours and will bring out the true colors of all your underwater adventures. The light produces 47 Lumens of Brightness with a Burn time of 30 Hours. Light comes equipped with an Adjustable Wrist Lanyard, is Depth Rated to 330' (100 meters) and weighs 12.87 oz (365 g) with batteries. For those who need a great backup, an efficient main source, or just all around great dive light, the Torrent LED is all of the above.

    I purchased and used this light on some cavern dives, and a night dive. Worked flawlessly. Small, very bright, and reliable. I would definitely purchase again. Switch activated so there is no chance of flooding it when turning it on/off underwater. Also has a lock so that it doesn't turn on in transit.

    The first Torrent I received as a gift would not turn on under the surface. It worked fine above the surface. I sent it back & Princeton sent me another one (no questions asked). The second Torrent I received worked intermittenly; sometimes the switch would work, sometimes it would not. I can't rely on this light. Maybe the third time is the charm?

        I teach a marine biology course and ordered six of these to replace some other lights. We take our students on a few night dives. Of the six, one needed to be sent back immediately as it didn't work. One failed on the walk to the beach (before it ever touched the water). The replacement for the second broken one came with a faulty switch. If they worked consistently, I'd love these - but, they do not.

          I have taken this on 3 night dives now. Very easy to operate under water (switch on or off if you want to see any glowing phos).

          The light outshone all my dive buddies with a nice white light. Wondering how it fades over time but nice and solid and didnt leak.

          Other dive buddies torches exploded OMG!

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Got this on special and liked LED when compared with Halogen and Xenon lights dive friends had. Good solid feel in hands. Worked fine at depth. Would Recommend for price. Would make great second light for the big light crowd and good first light for anyone else.
