This model is good for our oversized laptop. The case is a bit clunky with 4 latches. But we need the safety of zero dust getting into the laptop when it's in the van and going to the field. The laptop is safe from shovels, screens, etc. stored in the van. If it falls, no harm done. We purchased foam and holder that fits into case separately.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
