I have not yet used this product in a diving situation, however, I do own a Pinnacle wetsuit that I just love. I'm sure the vest will do the job. The fit is comfortable and not to constricting. The vest will allow for a bit cooler water and still stay warm and decently comfortable. Hoping it is a better solution than attempting a heavier wetsuit. I also ordered one for may daughter who tends to chill much faster in warm water diving.

The length was right, but it had huge gap-osis at the arm holes and across the back. It therefore bunched too much to fit under the wetsuit. I guess you get what you pay for as it was very inexpensive.

My daughter lives out of town and dives only about once a year when she visits from graduate school. I bought her a 3mm Med/Short Pinnacle Seal wetsuit a couple of years ago. We were going with our LDS to dive at Vortex Springs in Ponce de Leon Florida. The water is 68' year round and a 3mm is a bit chilly for any extended diving. Rather than rent or buy her a 5mm suit, I opted to order this vest. She was toasty warm all weekend and now has a great deal of flexibility in her exposure suits at a very small actual cost.

She didn't have any of the chest/waist size problems mentioned in some of the other reviews. Different body types I suppose.

Although the vest appeared well made and arguably more durable than many other products the fit was awkward and way too loose around the chest while extremely tight around the waist.

I used this vest under a 5mm Waterproof brand wetsuit in 55 degrees! Very warm! and easy to get on and off! I feel like I should have purchased a medium size, as the large was just a tad big in the chest area! and I'm a 36 D!
