DESCRIPTION
The Karbon-flex 4mm Glove is made for diving in very cold waters, specifically in applications where there is wear and tear on the palms, such as wreck diving, salvage, hunting, etc. Pinnacle's patented Merino lining adds warmth normally found in thicker gloves, yet does not hinder dexterity. The 4mm Merino titanium lined neoprene is extremely warm, and is complemented with wrist strap to ensure secure fit along with minimizing water transfer. Durability is guaranteed with the Kevlar palm and fingers which not only protect your hand, but they also ensure long glove life.

FEATURES
  • 4mm titanium lined high stretch TW Flex neoprene for warmth
  • Merino lining throughout the glove adds warmth and comfort
  • The Merino provides warmth typically found in 6mm or thicker gloves, and the TWFlex allows for the dexterity of 3mm or thinner gloves
  • Palm, inside of fingers, and outer finger tips reinforced with Kevlar for addedstrength, abrasion resistance, and hand protection
  • Wrist strap ensures secure fit and minimizes water transfer
  • Velcro closure and rubber grip tab on wrist strap make donning and doffing easy
  • Comes with multipurpose mesh carry bag
  • Available in sizes: XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL, and XXL

These gloves are rugged and very warm, but unlike any other Pinnacle glove I've ever worn, the interior seams have heaped up ridges of glue that feel extremely rough.

When I called Pinnacle and told them that I had a complaint about their Karbonflex gloves, the lady on the phone asked if they were scratchy. Obviously this is NOT an isolated problem. After wearing the gloves while driving and at home while watching TV, the seams have smoothed out a bit.

These gloves are very tough as nails and are in all other ways very good. One other thing that you should be aware of is that this gloves are approximately one size too small. I wear medium gloves and a medium wouldn't even fit past my 2nd set of knuckles.

These gloves are okay as far as warmth, I felt that they were cut small too. I would size up. I'm almost always a small in every other manu gloves, but in these the small crushes my fingers.

In very cold quarry water, I could feel the cold water come in through the seams. I don't think they are as warm as pinnacle suggests. I like my 5mm gold core Henderson gloves better. The kevlar is great though; very flexible and tough as nails. It would be nice to see a merino lined stretch glove like the 7mm Henderson stretch, with kevlar.

Comments about Pinnacle Merino-karbonflex 4mm Glove:

I use them in the cooler water of Michigan and even in 48 deg. water they kept my hands warm. The kevlar palm also is very durable, after 12 dives they still look just about new.

Just got mine and haven't used them yet; I sent them back to get next bigger size. I definitely recommend getting the next size up. They look and feel very nice and durable, very nimble for 4 mil.
