The Aeris AERA10 A2 Octopus, simple, yet effective design is ideal divers who demand durability. The bright yellow cover and hose allows quick and easy spotting of the A2 if it's ever needed. Te A2 has a dependable downstream demand valve design. The A2's housing is made from an ABS/Polycarbonate composite blend of materials making the A2 extremely rugged and lightweight, weighing 6 oz (170 g) and nearly neutrally buoyant underwater. The A2 has a small profile with a front diameter of 2.9" (7.4 cm), and now comes with a 3/8" Threaded 36" (91.4 cm) MaxFlex Hose.
The Aeris AERAT4SR 400 Sport DVT Regulator's high performance balanced diaphragm first stage with environmental seal and the DVT (Dry Valve Technology). DVT is an automatic valve that protects your first stage regulator's internal components against the harsh water environment with no impact on the regulator's performance. DVT provides an extra layer of protection from environmental contamination such as dirt, dust, sand, water spray, dripping and pool water, or even a "flash flood" in a rinse tank. DVT improves performance and reduces service costs. The 1'st Stage has 2 HP & 4 LP ports and weighs 29 oz (822 g).
The all chrome plated marine brass 1'st-Stage is an over balanced diaphragm design. The diaphragm membrane transmits pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for the surrounding water to enter the mechanism. This type of 1'st-Stage design assures that none of the internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. Environmental contaminants cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal parts deteriorating performance. The 400 Sport DVT's 2'nd-Stage lightweight design and patented orthodontic mouthpiece provide easy breathing while diving and you reduce jaw discomfort. The 2'nd-Stage outer ring diameter is only 2.67" (6.8 cm) and 2'nd-Stage weights only 7 oz (198 g). The Sport 2'nd-Stage housing is made from an ABS/Polycarbonate composite blend of material. The 400 Sport suitable for use with nitrox breathing gas mixtures up to 40% oxygen without the need for special preparation, cleaning or component parts. 2'nd Stage has a venturi control switch. The venturi assist deflector vane directs airflow from the valve directly to the mouthpiece producing a smooth inhalation. Turning the venturi assist down, to a pre-dive position, prevents regulator free-flow while on the surface.
For Buoyancy Control the Aeris AEREX1 EX100 BCD. A lightweight Jacket Style BC with some nice extras, perfect for any diver looking a quality BC. Equipped with three over pressure relief valves, two large zippered pockets, QLR 20 lbs (9 kg) integrated weight system and two trim weight pockets accommodating an additional 10 lbs (4.54 kg), a padded backpack with carry handle, strategically placed D-rings for attachment of accessories, dual-adjust sternum strap for stability and comfort, safety whistle and if that's not enough a depth compensating and adjustable cummerbund. The BCD has 27 lbs to 60 lbs (12.25 to 27.22 kg) of lift from size XS to XL, and is equipped with Aeris power inflation/deflation with lower pull-dump control. BC weighs less than 8 lbs (3.63 kg) and comes with an owner's manual and 3/8" Threaded LP Hose.
Your dive package comes with the Aeris AERXRNXC NX 2 Gauge Computer Console. Upon starting your dive, the XR 1 NX will simply display your current depth and how long you can stay there (Dive Time Remaining). Simply press the button to see more information. Variable ascent rate indicator will keep you safe upon ascent and slow you down progressively as you head to the surface. Safety stop timer will give you the ability to include the all important 15' (5 meters) safety stop. Dive Computers are designed with color-coded bar graphs; gray, yellow and red. These graphs monitor nitrogen accumulation and your personal ascent rate. Pixels buildup in each of these color-coded areas to give you a quick, easy reference of these parameters. Proper monitoring of these graphs allows you to select the personal degree of conservatism you wish to build into each dive. The XR-1 Nx acts simply as an 'Air' computer until you tell it otherwise. Computer will let you dive nitrox and mixtures of enriched air from 21 to 50%.
The XR-1 Nx features a diver replaceable CR2450 battery. Should you be in a tight spot between dives, the "hot-swap" feature allows you to change batteries between dives while maintaining all calculations. Other features of the computer are a calendar and clock, 330' (100 meter) operating depth, variable ascent rate, push button or water activation, wait to fly time, 12 dive on-unit log capacity, pre-dive plan sequence, dive planner and much more. The XR-1 NX Computers Algorithm Basis is a Modified Haldanean/DSAT (Diving Science and Technology) Database. The Computer is Automatically Altitude Adjustable from 2,000' to 14,000' (610 to 4,267 meters) and can be set for Imperial or Metric Display.
The pressure gauge included will accurately report your remaining air pressure from 0 to 5000 psi, and the pressure gauge is easy to read due to its contemporary display. Pressure gauge is also equipped with a thermometer to monitor both water and air temperature. Pressure gauge has a luminescent dial for ease of reading in low light or night diving conditions. The computer and pressure gauge come with an Owner's Manual.
Finding your way around is a breeze with Aeris top and side reading compass its proprietary design ensures quick smooth movement, and its high visibility lubber line, luminescent dial will never get you lost. With the AERIS side reading compass, the diver is able to hold the compass level and still be able to easily read the headings through the side window. Quick responding and accurate liquid filled compass has a large ratchet bezel, direct and reciprocal index point.
