Comments about Omer Cayman HF Camu 3D Speargun:

Ive been spearing for about 4 years. I've owned 2 110 omer caymens. an omer air balete, a 100 cressi geronimo elite, a 90 geronimo, a 90 cressi comanche and a 120 picasso century. the caymens have been the best for the money. but overall this gun the "110 Omer Cayman HF Camu 3D" has been the best. first thing I did to this gun is attach a reel to it ( same one from the airbalete). next I replaced the stock shaft, which is notched, to a finned shaft. I did this so I could replace the articulated wish bone as well. dyneema wishbones are much quieter, safer, cheaper, and easier to replace. plus the metal wish bone chews up the barrel. I also beefed up the band to a 19mm, the stock band seems kinda whimpy. the gun also came with weights which i installed into the muzzle and handle.this balanced out the gun, and counteracted the recoil from the stiffer band. I wouldnt recomend this as a first gun. theres too much in it for a newbie to appreciate. I wouldnt recomend to a whale hunter either ( rob allen or jbl is the way to go).If you hunt the reef and from time to time strike pelagics under 60 pounds, this is the gun for you. fast accurate and manueverable.
