DESCRIPTION
Pull down the zipper of the outer cover of the OMS_ BC and you will see 1000 denier Nylon fabric backed with 5 to 6 oz. of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). This thicker TPU coating helps prevent abrasion and increases puncture resistance. Most competitors use only 1/2 oz. or no urethane backing on their BC covers making them susceptible to punctures, abrasion and subsequent leaks. Housed inside the outer cover we use a puncture resistant bladder constructed from 200 denier Nylon fabric backed with .12 mm of TPU. Most of our competitors use only a thin plastic film bladder that is more susceptible to damage. There are other differences such as 100% quality assurance inspection for leaks, imperfections and defects before your OMS_ BC is delivered. The 32 lb. lift non-retraction band BC's are made from the same superior materials as the banded BC's. They incorporate a pull dump located at the diver's side lower left and an inflator hose exiting the center of the BC, tank side.

          This is my favorite wing. The 14" hose is too short for me, so I added a 19" and attached my Scubapro Air2.
          If you're in cold water; the only down side is I use 20 pounds of lead with a steel back plate, and a HP steal tank. All that weight to be perfectly weighted, and the 32lbs of lift isn't enough to keep it afloat if I have to take it off in the water. It doesn't bother me because I never take it off in the water anyway.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Answer to question about lower dump valve: It would be used in a heads down position and I use it 60 to 70 percent of the time.

            The product does exactly what you read about in the description. Very well made and looks good too! The bladder design allow air to move around allowing the wearer to adjust attitude in the water very easily. The low pressure inflator hose is a bit shorter than standard BCD users are used too but with a bit of practice and the help of an octopus holder or elastice band to hold it to your harness shoulder strap - it becomes a natural fit. Liked the first one so much I bought a second for my travel kit.

              Recreational diver with a passion! Combined with Al. backplate & comfort harness system II. Inflator hose is short but a great convience as it is where it needs to be anyway in a heads up deflate. Low profile equals less drag & with all the lift you need.
