DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:Octopus, LP Hose

Barely larger than a second stage valve, the SLIMLINE OCTOPUS lies streamlined and flat against your body, reducing drag. With a unique sideways design, the SLIMLINE is an excellent alternative air source.

FEATURES
  • INTEGRATED PURGE BUTTON Adding to the SLIMLINE OCTOPUS' rugged durability, an integrated purge button isutilized to eliminate the possibility of freeflow caused by trapped sand and sediment.
  • DEMAND LEVER ROLLER Upon inhalation, pressure inside the second stage housing drops, causing a flexible silicon diaphragm to be drawn down against a mechanical demand lever. Depressing this lever opens the valve to begin delivering air to the diver.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT The SLIMLINE OCTOPUS' housing is made from an ABS/Polycarbonate composite blend of materials making the SLIMLINE both extremely rugged and lightweight.

    Button broken too

    Slim profile was a pro, but like other users I realised that only about 2 years after buying it, I found the yellow purge button had disintegrated into 6-7 pieces. Hopefully I can...Read complete review

    Slim profile was a pro, but like other users I realised that only about 2 years after buying it, I found the yellow purge button had disintegrated into 6-7 pieces. Hopefully I can find a spare button, but will have to got back to my reserve occy to protect the diaphragm of the SlimLine.

    OK octopus. Breathes well and does not free flow. BUT, the purge button has cracked and got broken in little pieces after about 10 dives. No hard hit or inapropriate use what so ever. Seems like the good price is a reflex of the cheap material.

                Great value for an alternate air source, this is part of my novice value set up. I like the slim profile, easy of use, and reliability. Never had any problems of free flow with this regulator when entering the water unlike some I have seen and used in the past.

                Excellent value for your first setup if you are concious of every penny you are spending.
