DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:Pressure Gauge, HP Hose with Gauge Boot

Oceanic's SWIV Submersible Pressure Gauge comes in a Durable Impact Resistant Boot with a High Pressure Hose. The Pressure Gauge has 0 to 5,000 psi Readout with a Safety Reserve 500 psi Color Coded in Red to allow the diver to know that they are low on air. The Gauge Case is manufactured from Tough Glass-Filled Noryl and the Gauge Face is Durable Lexan. The Impact-Resistant Boot has Multiple Eyelets for attachment of a clip or lanyard to keep the gauge close at hand and from dragging over the environment.

The Pressure Gauge has a Shock Resistant Bourdon Tube Mechanism and is equipped with a Double Kevlar Braided High Pressure Hose with Triple Chrome Plated Marine Brass Fittings with 7/16" Threaded end. Hose has a 360° Swivel end for easy use. The Pressure Gauge is also equipped with a Temperature Gauge. Both the Pressure and Temperature Gauge Needles Tips are colored Bright Red for easy reading. The SWIV Pressure Gauge is covered by a 12 month limited warranty.

    Came as part of a Oceanic SWIV package as other reviewer mentioned. It worked great for 5 years in various environments/depths but flooded this weekend during a shallow dive. I suppose 5 years isn't too bad for the price...

    These gauges were included in our VEO 250 Swiv Consoles (VEO 250 Computer, Pressure Gauge, and Compass). These new pressure gauges flooded after our trip to Cozumel, Mexico. I went ahead and got the gauges replaced (under warranty) at a local dive shop. During our trip to Bonaire, the pressure gauges flooded again. Again, the gauges were replaced a second time (under warranty) and six months later in Cozumel, the gauges flooded for a third (and final) time. I went ahead and went back to our Scubapro gauges and got rid of the Oceanic consoles...too much of a hassle and a dive accident waiting to happen. I am surprised that Oceanic has not had any type of safety recalls on this product. Be weary of this product.
