The entire G5 reel is manufactured out ofa single piece of 1/4-inch stainless steel wire. This reel available in three sizes is built to last decades of extreme diving and meets the demands of commercial divers.

    I replaced the line with parachute cord that is boyant. That helps prevent the line from getting tangled in reef structure.

    This is absolutely the best reel I own and I have a drawer full of reels!
