DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:Pole Spear with Sling

The gold standard in pole spears, our one-piece models are drawn 6063, annealed for extra rigidity. The end result: maximum energy transfer with virtually no flex. JBL Spear Poles are machine-swaged for enhanced hydrodynamics. This provides greater speed with minimal water disruption. Sling length is fully adjustable and the stainless threaded tip will accept any 6mm (7 if specified) point.

This tempered aluminum pole has the JBLD6100 replaceable sling, which is made ofblack surgical rubber and adjusts easily for power variation. Short 6' (1.83 meters) is great around reef and rock bottom and especially in lower visibility hunts. Various spear tips are available from JBL depending on your hunting needs. You can choose from fixed, paralyzer, trident, barbed and break-away styles.

Comments about JBL 6 ft. Fixed Pole Spear without Tip (D-72):

Very good spear for the money. Rugged aluminum construction with minimal flex. Shaft fills with water to increase weight/power, and is negatively buoyant so you can lay it on the bottom, if you need both hands. Would have liked to have a threaded, removable end cap for easier sling adjustment/replacement(like on the breakdown/travel version)but all in all, a very good and hardy tool for the money

Comments about JBL 6 ft. Fixed Pole Spear without Tip (D-72):

Bought this along with the JBL 6'fixed polespear for our trip to Pensacola Fl. Got down there and too many jelly fishing on the bay side to use it didn't even try on the gulf side because of fishing laws (can't use with 500yrds of a public beach). Gonna take it out to Beaver Lake AR soon and try it on catfish!!!

I did get a chance to play with it though in the sand and dirt. This thing packs a punch that would take down a nice fish!!!

GOOD ADVICE: research state fishing laws when you start your research to purchase any spearing device.

Comments about JBL 6 ft. Fixed Pole Spear without Tip (D-72):

Bought a speargun and found a pole spear to be more effective for shallow water reefs where prey is smaller. Good weapon for beginner. It also sinks so you can lay it down when on the bottom.
