The gun works great. My single complaint is that there is no place to attach a float line. I ended up replacing a screw in the handle with an eye bolt so I could clip my float line to the gun. Other than that, it is a superb gun. Easy to load, and the shaft is a bit heavier than similar guns, which I like.

im only a shore freediver/hunter. i didnt think the lack of line release would matter BUT it does.and theres no shock chord on the 4ft line they give u. its too much to fiddle with if your wearing thick gloves. the construction is what you would expect for [$] i suppose. there is no track for the shaft and the safety sucks. seriously just spend the extra money even if ur a beginner.

Great little gun. I use it for flounder and sheepshead around structures so size is perfect for manuvering. Buy nylon kite string, I mean a longer shock cord to really take advantage of this gun.
