DESCRIPTION

IFL660 Torch features a concentrated 12 degree beam for maximum carrying distance. The ergonomic design is constructed from anodized aluminum for rugged durability. Waterproof to 400' (122 meters), this is a light you can take anywhere. The magnetic slide switch provides easy on/off operation and the adjustable push-lock rubber sleeved wrist lanyard assures safe attachment.

The 1 CREE 220 Lumens LED will give up to 100,000 hours of use and an 8 hours of burn time on a set of CR123A batteries (included). Light has a 6000-7000K Color Temperature. Compact and lightweight with an overall length of 6.2" (15.75 cm) and a width of 1.5" (4 cm) and weighting a mere 7.9 oz (224g) with batteries.

    This is a very bright light. I wanted something that I could use for daytime use for illuminating cracks and crevices in the reef and on wrecks and signal other divers as to what I'm looking at, and this works perfectly for that. It is also very bright at night and could easily be used as a primary light.

    I'm split on the magnetic switch though. I found it beneficial to have the magnetic slide switch when operating the light in one hand and a camera in the other during the day. I would switch the light on and off as needed to peer into dark places and use the light to allow the camera to focuse. The swich proved useful in these situations.

    When not actively using the light, it stays clipped to a D-ring and secured to my shoulder strap with a piece of bike inner tube. I found the light would sometimes switch on by itself upon entry into the water due to the ease of movement of the magnetic switch. I had to reach down and physically feel the position of the switch after entry to make sure it hadn't accidentally switched on.

    The light is very sturdy and feels well built.

    I loved this light, until I started diving as a tech diver. The switch gets turned on automatically by my harness strap (a major problem), and my battery drained before the dives even started.

    Now, the whole switch assembly CAME OFF and I couldn't use the light at all! I loved the light, but the switch assembly was a piece of garbage. I will only use twist-on lights from now on. (even my $4.95 cheapo yellow light that I bought at leisure pro is much more reliable)

      Small and compact, with switch on/off (so no twisting, less chances of flooding!). It can be attached to the BC via retractor or stored in BC pockets. Not plastic so definatelly durable item.

        I own many different dive lights, and this one by far gives the best light for its size. It is small, light, ergonomic, easy to use, and provides a fantastic and well-focused beam for every use I've encountered. I use it as both a primary and backup.

              use light for lobstering."Excellent" powerful beam really lights up hole. Great as a backup night light. Light,slim&doesn't get in way.
              Only drawback is on/off switch can accidently be activated. Just have to keep eye on it.
