A fantastic value, Thermoprene is ideal for budget-minded divers who want the best in materials, design and construction. Thermoprene is crafted from a high quality neoprene that has 75-percent more stretch than standard wetsuit material. This increased stretch significantly improves diver comfort by making Thermoprene suits noticeably more flexible than the competition. Thermoprene is also easier to get into, pulling over the shoulders and around the torso with less huff and puff than standard wetsuits. And, the fabric's exterior stands up extremely well to friction, meaning it won't show undue wear from BC straps and weight belts.

The Thermoprene 7mm Jumpsuit's effectiveness is based on a contoured fit that helps keeps water exchange to a minimum combined with a superior grade of neoprene for maximum heat retention.       I live in San Diego and although I am an avid diver, was not fond of the cold water most of the year. I finally broke down and bought a heavy wetsuit to see if I could enjoy diving here...this suit surprised me in every way. It was not the hassle to get on and off that I associated with heavy suites...it is no harder to get into than my 3 mil I normally use in warm water. And it kept me so WARM! My husband got one too and feels the same way. If you are looking for a comfortable suit that does not bind and is easy to wear, this is the suit! Fits great and seems to be true to size.

          At 45 feet the water temperature was 51 degrees F and I was very comfortable. It slipped on easy when dry, taking it off was easy. Putting the suit back on when wet was a little more difficult. There was a slight trickle of water down the spine under the zipper but that cold shock went away rapidly once in the water. A great suit for the price.
