DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:Pair of 7mm Gloves

Henderson's Exclusive H2 -Ultra Soft - Low Modulus - Extended Memory Foam rubber with Titanium lining is simply the best, most comfortable and technically advanced glove material available anywhere. H2 offers the same 250% stretch as with the original Hyperstretch but with a revolutionary interior and exterior fabric laminate called Aquasilk. This exclusive combination of rubber and fabric provides the same great stretch which made traditional Hyperstretch so popular, but with a bit more compression to keep the glove from ballooning. Ballooning, caused by excessive stretch, may allow cold water entry during initial surface entries.

The Exclusive Aquasilk advancement in synthetic fabric technology provides the pill resistant and rugged durability required for the dive environment with an ultra soft and supple "hand" found traditionally in natural fabrics. H2 Glove are 7mm in thickness, have a durable grip palm, with glued and sewn seams.

Henderson is known for their excellent products and quality workmanship. This item, does not fit with that tradition. First, it is definetely warm, mates well with wetsuit seal, has virtually no water movement, and dons/doffs super easy (H2 neoprene is the key). The glove, in and of itself, is amazing and kept my hands toasty during a handful of ice dives this past weekend. However, as soon as I got home, I noticed the stitching was starting to come apart between the fingers and large holes were forming. These gloves saw no use other than on/off and in water; no exploring wrecks or handling tools. After just fifty minutes of water time, they were completely falling apart. Will be sending in for warranty but until they improve quality, stay away from these and go with the H1 model.

Comments about Henderson H2 Titanium 7mm Glove:

I bought these gloves because I needed warm gloves for diving New England waters in the chilly months (Water temps in the low 40's).

On the positive side, these gloves fit well, allow great dexterity and are super easy to get on and off.

On the downside (and it's a BIG downside), they leak like crazy. Now, I know that they are wet gloves, but we all know that the less water exchange in our gloves, the better they perform. In this case, as soon as I enter the water, cold water pours into the gloves through the seams. This can be easily reproduced by plunging your gloved hand into a bucket of water (keeping the wrist out of the water) and withing SECONDS the glove has filled with cold water and every time you move your hand, more water is pumped in & out through the leaky seams. If I fill the gloves with water, the water spouts out through the seams at the base of the fingers - Definitely NOT a good quality cold water glove in my opinion.

I have read here that others find these gloves warm, so I can only assume that mine are somehow defective. If you do buy these then I strongly recommend that you do the seam leak test that I describe above before you accept them.

Comments about Henderson H2 Titanium 7mm Glove:

These gloves are excellent for cold water. You simply wont feel cold on your hands.
The "but" is you wont have good sensibility, that is the trade off.
        I'm very satisfied.
