The Extra Air Source removes existing limits on redundant air currently on the market and allows you to configure a redundant air source tailored to your diving needs. Whether you're cave diving or diving shallow reefs the Extra Air Source will get you to the surface and even provide you with enough air for a safety stop if configured correctly for your maximum depth. The EAS3 gives you the reliability of a redundant air system using a dependable environmentally sealed balanced diaphragm first stage with a downstream demand valve second stage. The First-Stage Regulator threads directly into the neck of a cylinder eliminating the need or bulk of a cylinder valve, it also gives you the latitude of selecting the size of cylinder to be utilized. First stage has a sure grip on/off valve hand wheel that is easy to turn even with gloved hands. First Stage has three low pressure ports and two high pressure ports and is manufactured from corrosion resistant forged brass with a black chrome finish. First Stage is equipped with an analog pressure gauge.
Second Stage Regulator has a bright yellow purge cover, is a dependable simple down-stream demand valve design which connects to the first stage via a 360° vertical/ horizontal swivel. The second stage has a quality silicone mouthpiece, diaphragm and dual exhaust manifold with dual exhaust valves for ease of inhalation/exhalation when in an emergency out of air situation. The large purge button makes clearing the regulator safe and easy.
System includes a lightweight 6 cubic foot aluminum cylinder that fits into H2Odyssey's Quick Release EAS Bag. The bag is the best way to mount your redundant air system. Designed to hold the 6 cu ft tank, the bag clips easily to your BCD "D"-rings. Bag is made of durable nylon material with two adjustable Quick Release Buckle straps.
Kit comes equipped with the handy station filler adapter. The adapter has a cylinder vale head that will conveniently work with your local dive retailer or fill station on the charter boat not making you sacrifice your primary air source supply. Filler is manufactured from chrome plated marine grade brass with push button bleeder valve.
