DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:Firs Stage, Second Stage and Either Yoke or Station Filler (See Select Type)

Balanced Diaphragm First Stage - RG3V
octopus or breathable inflator system both depend on the reliability of your primary air source. If it malfunctions you're out of air! The EAS3 gives you the reliability of a redundant air system using a dependable environmentally sealed balanced diaphragm first stage with a downstream demand valve second stage.

The First-Stage Regulator threads directly into the neck of a cylinder eliminating the need or bulk of a cylinder valve, it also gives you the latitude of selecting the size of cylinder to be utilized. First stage has a sure grip on/off valve hand wheel that is easy to turn even with gloved hands. First Stage has three low pressure ports and two high pressure ports and is manufactured from corrosion resistant forged brass with a black chrome finish.

Second Stage Regulator has a bright yellow purge cover, is a dependable simple down-stream demand valve design which connects to the first stage via a 360- vertical/ horizontal swivel. The second stage has a quality silicone mouthpiece, diaphragm and dual exhaust manifold with dual exhaust valves for ease of inhalation/exhalation when in an emergency out of air situation. The large purge button makes clearing the regulator safe and easy.

Extra Air Source 3 is available in two models types. If you find that you will be filling your unit predominantly at your local dive store or on a dive boat that can fill cylinders then you will prefer the station filler model, if you will be filling your unit while on the fly, then you will need the yoke model which allows filling from your Scuba cylinder. If you find you may need both then the SKU's for the two filler adapters are as follows: H2EASSFA Station Filler and H2EASYFA Yoke Filler.

Comments about Aqua H2Odyssey Extra Air Source 3:

I bought this product for an emergency and it is great. I also use it for freediving to give me a few extra breaths when exploring caves and the like.

It is small in capacity so there is a limit on its usefulness at depth but it works as advertised. Testing it on the surface I drank it dry in about 10 minutes.

The unit itself is good and compact. The bottle is about the size of a 1.25L coke bottle. The regulator is fixed to the top of the tank with no hoses. This makes it a bit difficult to use as you need to manoeuvre the tank up to your mouth but it is better than having hoses to secure.

I have the yoke filler that enables filling from the main tank. It takes a bit of getting used to work out how to fill without leaking air. I thought I had a faulty unit but was just that I had not sealed all the treads properly (which there is a bit of a trick to). Make sure you fill slowly - otherwise the air goes into the pony hot and when it cools the pressure will fall.
