Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin Adjustable Original Fins:

This is my third pair of Force Fins, following the original yellow model and the first "Pro" model. The reason for changing was the uncomfortable and hard foot pocket of the former models. This one is terriffic in that area but somehow it doesn't feel as efficient as the original Pro. One awful design characteristic is that the blades have a series of conical "studs" in the bottom that make next to impossible to stand on the boat without slipping. After two outings I took a grinding stone and leveled them took them off, then with a Dremel and cutting disk added a criss-cross grod to the underneath of the foot area to improve traction on a flat surface somewhat. Other that that I love them and they last forever.

Took these to a dive resort as my only choice. From the first use I was sold. Plenty of power with no strain on my toes/ankles/knees. Easy to walk on deck of dive boat too. They fit with thin boots as well as my hard soles. These will be with me for a long time

As a beginner, I found this fin more of an underwater fins than a recreation or a snorkeling fin. Cumbersome for recreation or snorkling as it is very sturdy on top of the water. It works great for thrust and less sand floating when under the water with Bat Wings attached.

They feel easy and more efficient to use, but your top speed is definately restricted by their small size. Easy to climb ladders but hard to put on with the cumbersome buckle. The theory behind them is logical. The price certainly is not. Single shot moldings like this should be cheaper than dual-plastic fins.
