DESCRIPTION
Deep See's 6.5mm Men's Safe Sole Boots are made of See-Flex Nylon II neoprene Rubber, with Vulcanized Rubber Puncture Resistant "Safe Sole" layer and low profile grip pads. Boots are extra tall to create a longer more water proof seal between your wet suit and the boot, which keeps you warmer longer during a dive.Deep See's 6.5mm Boot has an extra thick inner sole that provides comfort and added warmth. If durability is what you want the boot is equipped with Entry grip Rubber Toe & Heel Cap.

Good all-around boot! Has good features like fin strap notch, velcro zipper retainer and gusseting behind zipper. This boot is nice and tall - so you get a lot of overlap between full wetsuit and boot (good thing for cold water). However, if you do a lot of shore diving w/ rocky entries, you may want something with a harder sole. This has a firmer sole than most boots, but it is a bit too flexible for repeated rocky entries. Still, if I had to pick one boot for all-around use - this is it.

I bought these for cold water (~67F) diving. Fit was good, true to size (ordered 2.5 sizes smaller than what I wear in women's shoes). After the third day of diving with them, the zipper on one boot malfunctioned. Luckily, I could wear it unzipped with the wetsuit closed over the ankle. Over the next few days, the glue on the various tabs and plastic parts separated from the neoprene. Basically, they fell apart within a week of diving. Buy at your own risk.

    Good boot! Low water movement and warm for wintry lake dives. Zipper keeper is helpful in keeping boots positively zipped. My feet are 11.5 (wear size 12 shoes) and I got the 11's as I don't like much play in my boots with open heel fins. They're perfectly snug and comfortable. Overall a solid, durable product; would recommend as a great buy for entry/mid-level cold water wet or semi-dry suit divers.
