Comments about Citizen #BJ8050-59E Men's Eco-Drive 300 Meter Diver Watch , Black Dial:

I've owned this watch for over one and one half years. I'm both a diver and watch collector and find this eco-drive model a TOOL! On the watch forum I moderate (BDWF) - we call this the "eco-zilla".

On the positive side - it's a dive watch with no doubts as to its purpose. It has a blue lume that stays way past the end of the tank time and is very visable at depth or in turbulent/cloudy water. The eco-drive system and 300m w/r allows for confidence in it working for you as necessary at any depth a recreational diver goes. Wet suit deployment is a big plus.

The bezel is "tinny" and hard to move with gloves. The case is thick and rides on the wrist like a brick. It is not an out of water watch for the dressy crowd. Did I say heavy - 265 gr with the ss bracelet - and forget about putting it under the cuff of a dress shirt- unless you are a pirate!

Without a doubt - an affordable divers watch that will give you many years of dependable, usable service under most any condition. Comes in a rubber strap and a lighter titanium model - if weight is a concern.
