I have had this watch now for 8 years (as of 1/4/10) and it is worn every day. I have over 150 dives with this watch, plus countless free dives. I truely believe the Eco Dive (solar powered) is the best thing going for this watch. I've never had it loose power, it keeps very accurate time.

I have gone through several bands (the stock rubber band didn't last too long) - and no recreational diver should really use the Navy NDLs anyway. All of the numbers/marks on the bezel are now gone, but there are few scratches on the crystal. This is a very durable watch (and I've had a few in my day).

My biggest complaint is the numbers on the small inner dials are very difficult for me to read - which makes the stop watch, 24 hour time, and second hand difficult to read. The stop watch also does not reset without physically rewinding itself back to zero - so don't be in a rush to reuse it.

All and all, it's been a good trustworthy watch.

I recently left my computer back in the hotel safe on one of my night dives, but this piece of kit saved my dive. I was able to use my pressure gauge on the tank, and the depth gauge and elapsed time against bezel on the watch. Assuming you set the bezel at immersion, the same back-up support would be there if your computer failed once underwater. Using a flashlight, it was easy to make my 15ft safety stop at the end of that night dive. The watch looks very cool, and I like the fact that it seems very robust. I also like that I never need to buy a battery, and that the watch always tells me its charge level. In time mode, from full solar charge, the watch is said to run for 6mths without sunlight. The dive mode does use more of the stored energy, so if you want a dive back-up for less sunny climes, and you plan to dive a lot, you may want to think about a more traditional battery operated watch.

I searched many watches before settling on this one. I have quite a few watches already, for all occasions; dressy, sporting, comfort, etc. I settled on this one for the combination of all these aspects. The band is rubber, and for diving it will fit over your wetsuit (I wear a 6mm suit and it fits fine). Also it has no decrompression limits printed on the inside of the band for quick reference, and not too gawdy looking if you are wearing your watch with a suit. The face and dial look great, and have nice movement. It does not have the Rolex style quartz perpetual motion, but the small second face within the larger face is easy to read. One of the best features of this watch is that it is solar powered, and it has a gauge that tells you how much power you have in the watch, and what the dive limitations would be if you chose to dive without a full charge. My only complaints, and believe me they are small ones, are that 1)the depth gauge will only read to a depth of 125 ft. (the watch is rated for 200m) though. My second complaint is that the illumination feature, while bright initially, dims rather quickly. I would like to see maybe tritium illumination, and a deeper gauge. So if you are a recreational diver, this watch is a great backup for depth readings to your traditional gauges. I would definately get another one should mine ever fail.

This is a quality product, and it wears well on the wrist. It's stylish and attractive, but not gaudy. I wear it every day, both casually, and in a business setting. I still have the rubber strap on it, but may change it out for the titanium band. Nothing wrong with the rubber strap, I'm just not a fan.

I've taken it on two dives down to 58', and it has registered depth very accurately.

There are two areas where this watch does not serve me well, so understand what you want to use it for. As a firefighter/emt, I frequently need to watch seconds, and the second hand is a bit too small for that. It can be a challenge sometimes, especially when it's dark. On the same note, the illumination of the hands/face fades fairly quickly in the dark, so it can be challenging to read at night.

Those are fairly specific situation gripes. If you're looking for a quality and attractive watch, this is a good one.

I have a Traser Tritium dive watch, and I much prefer the illumination of the tritium for dark viewing, so I wear that one at night, and this one during the day.
