Whats in the box:Pneumatic gun, Shaft loader, Line slider, Gun pump, Standard spear harpoon head, One cadmium shaft

The SL range of pneumatic spear guns has been in production for many years, and they have won worldwide renowned for their excellence in reliability, precision, power and of being robust. Constantly updated over the years, the SL spear guns are ultra light, easy to use, and fire quickly. The SL comes with an anatomical high grip handle that enabling the gun to be held in line with the arm effortlessly.

The bright yellow handle allows you quick and easy identification of the gun even if it ends up on the sea-floor after shooting. A strong line attachment eyelet on the handle allows attachment of a lanyard and aids in shaft loading. The SL guns are fitted with a safety catch to prevent accidental firing and, when the trigger is pulled the line release automatically releases the shaft line.

The SL guns have a range reducer so you can either use full power, or reduced the power for close-up fishing and shooting near rocks. When the power selector is switched to the reduced power mode, a non-return valve aids in gun loading. The SL spear guns come with an 8mm threaded steel shaft. The SL spear guns models come in three lengths: SL 55 21.5 "(55 cm long) SL 70 27.5" (70 cm long) SL 100 39" (100 cm long).

Comments about Cressi SL with Power Reducer Spear Guns:

This is a very inexpensive gun that works. It is very powerfull on the high setting and not worth shooting on the low setting. It is also very hard to load, I would not recomend for a smaller person as the loading takes alot of strength. My biggest complaint is the difficulty of the safety switch and the trigger pull. They are both very stiff and I usually have to take the safety off with my thumb which is not condusive to on the fly hunting. This gun has plenty of power for large game and shoots well other than the few hang ups and for the money if your only hunting a dozen times a year it will work.

I have owned this gun for 3 yrs. I have been on over 43 spear fishing dives. It has never failed me. The only maintenance I have performed is a good fresh water rinse and dry it off.

Comments about Cressi SL with Power Reducer Spear Guns:

I have owned this gun for a little over a year. The rope clip has snapped, this happened whilst reloading (normal operation) it broke off in my hand. And then the safety snapped in half this weekend. Basically the plastic used on the gun is sub standard (Cressi sub standard) only joking, I have a lot of Cressi Sub gear and have had no problems until now. I'm hoping I can get parts to repair.
