The Palau Long Adjustable Fin (LAF) opens the way for a new type of snorkeling and swimming fin. It has been designed for two specific purposes. The first was to have a foot pocket that could easily adapt to at least three or four consecutive foot sizes. This would enable the same fin to be used by all the members of a family, or by a group of friends. It would also make it great for rentals in a diving center or on a charter boat, without requiring an infinite number of sizes.

The second purpose was to guarantee extreme comfort and an ease of fit in a strapped open heel fin even if it is to be worn with bare feet. The result is a fin that is extraordinarily practical, that adapts to practically any foot size, and that allows for very quick fitting in any situation.

The Blade is made from a Lightweight, yet Responsive Material that assures a Fluid and Effortless Kick, yet at the same time quite Powerful. The Fin Blade Extends from the Top of the Foot Pocket for Maximum Surface Area. The Strap has a strong Pull Tab Ring to allow Quick Reversal of the Strap for ease of Donning and Doffing or to Clip the Fins to the Body or Equipment. The Fin Pocket is made from a Soft Elastomer for added Comfort. Due it the Fins Short Blade it is perfect for Traveling and is useful for Body Surfing, Boogie Boards and much more. Fins are available in 5 sizes of 2X-Small/X-Small, X-Small/Small, Small/Medium, Medium/Large or Large/X-Large and come in Blue, Yellow or Pink colors in smaller sizes and Blue or Yellow in larger sizes. Fins are covered by a 12 month limited warranty.

    Was told by sales person,this fin would fit with boots on, told her the size of the boot and she selected the size, it does not, unless maybe if you order a few sizes to large. It is comfortable with out boot,and probably true to size, but we snorkel a lot in areas where we need boots because of rock. My wife wears a size 6 womens boot and we ordered a M/L fin, boot doesn't fit in it.

    This was my first fin as I bought it to complement my my Cressi Mask and snorkel (Occhio Plus E Corsica) which works excellent. I find the fin is a bit stiff and is difficult to swim above water when snorkeling. It works well underwater when freediving. The footpocket is too small and narrow for my feet. I use them barefoot and it was very tight. I wear size 13.5 and the fin size was XL.

        Good fins for snorkelling, have not used them for SCUBA yet. Good effort to power ratio, and for the price are really good. Are quite stiff so long slow kicks work best or else you tire fast. Foot pocket is comfortable, can be worn with boots, socks or barefoot (although after 2-3 hours of barefoot your skin may hurt).

        All in all good fins, for the price can't be beat!

        Had to return these as the foot pocket was way to small to accomodate a bootie. Appears to be made to only fit bare feet or dive sock.
