DESCRIPTION
The first strapped fin molded using the exclusive and patented Cressi system with 3 materials. The three materials consist of a comfortable thermo-rubber (elastomer) foot pocket that extends up the side rails of the blade. The second material is the revolutionary new dual density (techno polymer) polypropylene which forms the blade, and in conjunction with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect. The channeling effect is the characteristic of the fin that enables a high level of energy to be transferred in both up and down strokes of the kick pattern.

The Master Frogs blade with its unequalled reactivity has stringers and reinforcements that are molded from resistant copolymer. The rather long blade, deriving directly from the Gara 2000 model, makes it possible to get the most out of the flexible-propulsive power of the techno polymer material. The absence of side stringers in the final section of the blade makes it possible to side-slip the fin easily in the water, alternating strong strides with frog kicks to break up the strain and to allow fining indefinitely. The anatomically computer designed foot pocket guarantee perfect blockage of the foot and allows ideal transmission of the leg-fin thrusts.

Master Frog is the thoroughbred of the Cressi range of open-heeled fins. Its power is unsurpassed and the fins are extremely lightweight. This light- weightiness reduces the inertial masses to the minimum allowing less resistance to acceleration when needed. This gives the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio. Fin is equipped with impact and corrosion resistant quick-release buckles with quality rubber straps. This fin is designed for Scuba professionals, instructors and technical divers who will appreciate its efficiency

I am an instructor and love having a large powerful fin. I had an old pair of Cressi open heal fins that lasted for 12 years. Once they finally succumed to old age I went to a split fin design. While I love the split fins when doing U/W photography the power and comfort of the Master Frog can't be beat. I recommend them to everyone who dives in currents or has a lot other equipement on, such as technical divers.

I had purchase these fins this after losing one of my scuba pro seawing fin which were very fast and powerful. I live in Cal. and dive for abalone and was using the master frog fins and for some reason the fin bended and so when I got out of the ocean I look at one of the fins and saw it curl-up I try to flex it back but it look like the material was stress from just kicking hard. I am going to leisure pro and see if I can return them for a credit and get other pair of fins that are better made I really like cressi products but these fins are not made well maybe thats why they are sale

Comments about Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black:

Needed longer than normal fins for freediving without having to go with a full foot design. These are a great improvement over my much shorter scuba fins. Deeper descents with less effort. Work very well on long surface swims as well. I wear shoe size 10.5 and these feel a little on the large side.

Comments about Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black:

I own this fin. I have used it for several years. It is a LOT of fin. As my strenght declines from age, I am realizing that this fin is too much... but I don't seem to want to give it up! This has been, by far, the most powerful fin I've owned, but it is not for the weak. The lenght of this fin has made it a challenge to pack.

Comments about Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black:

I have been diving Master frogs for over a decade and stand by them. I have tried many fins in comparsion over the years and nothing matches up. Lots of people like split fins becuase they are easy on youregs. There is areason for that. They simply dont move much water. A good stiff balde fin works great in all conditions. In calm water I dont have to fin very much at all to move and in current I can not only maintain, but move ahead against the water. I have seen many people using soft blades or split fins kicking like crazy aginsts current just to be washed away. Even in calm water Isee divers working hard just to keep up with others who only have to barely kick. Dont take my word on it but do take some advice: Try differnt fins in different conditions. Dont be caught by suprise when you are jumping into fast moving water.

Great fin light weight , great thrust when needed , easy to turn and backup. I like a long fin and this one has a good snap to the blade and you can get a lot of speed when you need it.
