This Computer is AWSOME. It does every function that is needed for divers. I used this computer in Gennie springs and Devils Den FL. It worked great. It let me know when it was time to turn back, when to stop. It has a planning function that was a BIG help when doing surface intervels in addition to planning my next dive.I wanted a more expensive computer but this one does all that i need and i go on a few diving trips a year. The only downfall this computer has is that it is not a hoseless system. I will reach down and look at my gague before paying an additional $[...] bucks..

If you want some decent time on the bottom, don’t go with this computer! I don’t want to end up in the dive chamber anymore than the next guy but I do like to enjoy my dive. I bought it, used it and my bottom time was soooooooo conservative that everyone I was with had at least 10 minutes of BT left!!! If you dive with a group, do them a favor and find out what computers they use and either go with that brand or find one with at least a comparable bottom time. Having four or five minutes difference won’t bother your friends but 8 to 15 minutes will have you looking for new dive buddies.

Comments about Cressi-Sub Archimede II Wrist Computer:

This computer is internally identical to the Nitek Duo/Zeagle n2ition 2/ tusa-700

The nitek duo is the one that is very popular with many of my cave diver friends, and this one cost a lot less and is the exact same computer(minus some minor differences in the plastic shell).

Comments about Cressi-Sub Archimede II Wrist Computer:

got this product a week ago only done 5 dives but im already loving it , the display is nice and big and only needs a glance to look at , all the important information is displayed for you while you diving no need to waste time pushing buttons , i heard this computer was very conservative and it is rather ,but tweaking the po2 does help, only problem is the scratch guard outside the water makes it difficult to read under light , in the water its crystal clear ...

Comments about Cressi-Sub Archimede II Wrist Computer:

I used this computer for approx 150 dives and was very happy with it. Unfortunately I lost it. Anyway, it did everything I needed and was easy to use. It was more conservative than my buddy's Aladin, and I always clicked into deco before him. However it wasn't really a big deal. My only complaints is on two occasions I didn't notice the low battery warning symbol and it ran out on me mid dive. I feel they could make this much more obvious. I also recommend the battery be replaced at more frequent intervals than the manual states, and definitely before every dive trip. This is cheap and easy to do.

By the way this computer is made by Seiko and is also re-badged as Tusa IQ-700, Apeks Quantam, Zeagle N2ition, and Dive Rite Nitek Duo. Some of these are considerably more than the Cressi even though they are the same computer. The only difference is all the above will fit in a DSS bungy wrist boot, while the Cressis doesn't.

Comments about Cressi-Sub Archimede II Wrist Computer:

This computer was very easy to use. I did read the book before using but it was actually easier just to scroll through the pages on the computer itself. Very self explanatory. The conservation was just right, only about a min. difference between it and my cave diver friends more expensive computers.
The only thing I found was that you shouldn't try to put your gas settings in too soon after a dive. You need to wait at least 10 min or it resets the gas setting to default and you will end up getting O2 saturated. It does give you a warning when you pass 13ft and allows you to surface and set it if you do forget. I just didn't know what was going on to start with. Very nice computer and cheap too.
