DESCRIPTION
Black Digital Multi-Band 5 G-Shock Watch with Resin Band This atomic timekeeper function receives time calibration radio signals automatically up to six times aday which keep the displayed time accurate, also has a manual receiver function;the signal received for the US is WWVB at a frequency of 60 kHz, UK is MSF at 60kHz, Germany DCF77 at 77.5kHz, Japan JJ40/JJY60 and China BPC at BPC 68.5kHz, world time with 29 time zones (48 cities), city code display, and daylight saving on/off function, watch has full auto EL backlight with afterglow making it one great watch in low light conditions.

Four daily alarms and one snooze alarm which is great when you travel and need to get up on time, and a countdown timer measuring units of 1/10 of a second with a countdown range of one minute to 60 minutes. 1/100 second stopwatch with a measuring capacity of 999:59'59.99". Stopwatches have measuring modes for elapsed time, split time, and 1st and 2nd place times, and watch has an hourly time signal.

Watch is equipped with full auto-calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099), 12/24 hour formats, and watch is accurate +/- 15 seconds per month. The storage battery is a solar rechargeable CTL1616 battery. There is a battery power indicator, a power saving function, and an approximate battery life of a whopping 9 months on a full charge without further exposure to light. This toughsolar powered watch is shock and water resistant to 660' (200 meters).

      I really like this watch because it is Atomic AND Solar! When I'm in range of the atomic clock, it updates itself and the because it's solar powered, I don't have to worry about replacing the batteries. And I get a choice of five locations in the world for updating instead of just one. It's good to 200m and has already been on several dives. It tells me what I want to know about the time and date when I want to know it without a lot of fancy features I'll never use. It's very easy to use and the price was terrific. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone without reservations.

      You get a solar powered watch that receives signals from atomic clocks around the world and keeps itself in perfect time. Great durability and water resistance. It is a large watch, but I love these things.

        The Casio GW800-1V Black Digital Multi-Band 5 G-Shock Watch has all of the features I was looking for and I really appreciate the radio controlled timekeeping feature that keeps the watch accurate at all times. Even though it is not appropriate for formal wear, it is a great watch for everyday use. I highly recommend it.
