DESCRIPTION
Keeping warm on a cold dive is the ultimate challenge one must overcome to enjoy the dive and think about what they are seeing on the dive not when will it end so I can get warm again. This Bare Sport 7mm Cold Water Hood with Zipper is definitely a step in the right direction for total warmth. Hood is designed to seal with your skin around the neck using a Nylon I Skin in Seal which when against your skin will keep water exchange to minimum adding warmth to your dive. Hood is easy to don and duff with a Gusseted Zipper in back. Superior cold water protection and comfort, so keep yourself warmer when cold water diving.

  • 7mm N2S neoprene.
  • 3mm N1S trimable face seal.
  • Double glued and SECURE-LOCK stitched.
  • Vented to allow for release of any air trapped inside hood.
  • Gusseted back zip for easier donning.

    This is my second Bare cold water hood. The first saved my head from a nasty wound inside a cavern entrance. The hood is very easy to put on even when wet because of the zipper. Very warm and seals nicely around face. I could not recommend this product more! If I damage this one I will purchase another without hesitation. Great product.

    I used this hood once and immediately went out and bought another one. The tucking involved in getting the hood in place does not warrant any extra protection that it may provide, in the end you end up untucking it anyway. The zipper bulges in the back and may interfere with your other equipment. Consider the shorter hood with no zipper. The extra ease of getting it over your head is not worth it.

        I like that the zipper makes getting it on a little easier. It fits tight around my face for a good seal. I measured my head to figure out what size I was and the size is a true fit.

          Utilized this hood in 50 degree water. the intial water entering the hood shocked me, but the water inside the hood quickly warmed up.

              it isnt that easy to self don because of the large gauntlet ... so trying to tuck into a wetsuit comfortably is a challenge ... luckily most of us dive with a buddy who is more than happy to tuck it in ... other than that this is a great hood and the only reason i will stop using it is to dive a drysuit
