      Tried to use this with the Omer rubber belt I purchased at LP. Problem is that while the belt fits in the buckle the buckle will not close all the way to secure itself. Good product, but not for use with the rubber belt.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          A plastic buckle I was using during a dive broke, when I put on my backup weight belt that broke also. I don't see that happening with the stainless steel buckle!

            I purchased a new weight belt that came with a "plastic" buckle that didn't feel right to me. I replaced it with this stainless steel buckle which is more durable and securely locks in position. I feel much more secure using this weight belt now! Thank You Leisure Pro!
