DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:Drift Hook, Brass Clip and Line

Drift Diving is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable dives you can ever make. There you are at Neutral Buoyancy Floating along your Breathing Rate is like you are sitting on the couch watching the reef go by on TV. Your breathing so slow you can make a tank of air last forever, yet if you decide to stop and look at something more closely, forget it. Now you're fighting the current to stay stationary and using air at an extraordinary rate.

Having a Drift Reef Hook can save the day. Place it into or under a "Non Living Rock "on the bottom [not Living Coral) and you can now easily stay in one spot without a struggle. Also can be used when on the surface to keep stationary when making safety stops or waiting for the boat to pick you up. Hook is made of Rust Resistant Stainless Steel for Strength and Durability. The 50" (127 cm) Line is Durable Nylon with a #2 Brass Clip with Spring Loaded Gate.

Comments about Aqua Trident Stainless Drift Reef Hook with 50" (127 cm) Line and #2 Brass Clip:

These hooks are needed in Palau's currents. Great for hanging on DEAD coral to view passing parade of sharks and others.

Comments about Aqua Trident Stainless Drift Reef Hook with 50" (127 cm) Line and #2 Brass Clip:

I used this in Cocos, for the days when the currents were wicked and I needed a hand or two free. I hope people will begin to call this thing what it is: a ROCK hook, NOT a "reef" hook - you should never jab foreign objects into a reef! (If the currents are too strong over a living reef, just drift it.)
I also made great use of this thing as a jon-line in the current; it seemed to make everyone's ascent easier.
