Some pressure gauges and hose-less dive computer transducers utilize a thin or small wrench flat for tightening or removing them from your First-Stage Regulator. Moving these thin wrench flats further away from the first-stage allows you to use a standard wrench when you need to remove or replace the hose or transducer.
