If you have struggled with properly clamping your BCD to your cylinder, the Apollo Bio Tank Lock is for you. Apollo has redefined the standards for Scuba diving. The Bio-Tank Lock can secure a diving tank in seconds with little effort and up to ten times more tightening torque than any conventional tank lock on the market today. Apollo employs an advanced adjustable screw system that makes installation and removal a breeze, even with thick gloves. The heavy duty spring automatically adjusts as the webbing expands and contracts. The Apollo Bio-Tank Lock will accommodate any tank size and is adaptable to most BCDs.     I've been diving for years, and now and then i would have a tank slip out because it wasn't cinched down good enough. Although this thing is pretty expensive, it does save you getting goofed up during a dive or having to surface and fix your tank. It also is pretty easy to figure out, works well, and is well built. Can't ask for more then that.

    THe concept is nice, however, the plastic piece used for the lock tends to break off easily. in my case, it broke after the first dive.

    Very simple to operate. Makes assembly much easier then the standard velcro strap. Holds very secure as well as provides for the ability to add trim weight pockets.

      I have installed Bio Tank Locks on all 5 of my families BC's, and no longer have any tank slippage issues when the band is properly tightened. A non slip rubber sleeve around the band would provide additional security and require less tension on the band.
