BIO-MICRO removes all contaminants and odors with its medically approved highly contaminants and odors with its medically approved highly effective 2 in 1 electrostatic and activated carbon filtration system.

FEATURES
  • Available with 3/8" or 1/2" port fitting and easily installed on your existing system
  • Hexagonal wrench and cap clamp are included with kit to facilitate quick installation and removal as needed
  • Center housing is hand tight for easy access to filter
  • Charcoal filter should be changed after every 50 dives; earlier if electrostatic filter becomes discolored
  • Unique impact absorbing mechanism helps protect Bio-micro and first stage from damage
  • Two charcoal filters included;

    Comments about Apollo Bio-Micro Air Filtration System:

    This is nice if diving a lot where the air fills are good but you are looking for a little moisture in your lungs. I am not an expert on metals etc so I cant really comment on the filter section. I would think it helps on older rental tanks where air quality is good but maybe some extremely small debris.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Interesting product. I've decided that if your worried about the cleanliness of your fills you need to get air somewhere else. This is not a solution. That said, I will bring it on my next live aboard trip just for piece of mind.

    The build quality of the filter is ok, about what you would expect for the price.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
