DESCRIPTION

Whats in the box:3 mm Shorty

With short sleeves and legs this extremely versatile 3 mm nylon II neoprene suit offers superb mobility without sacrificing core warmth attributes. This suit utilizes flat-lock stitching throughout. Suit is equipped with a YKK #10 brass zipper. AKONA's unique zipper design utilizes dual rubber strips to additionally seal the zipper opening when closed, creating a water resistant closure. In addition, AKONA's low profile zipper flap folds over the closed zipper to further seal and secure the zipper in its closed position. The reinforced pull loop at the base of the zipper makes self-donning of the suit fast and easy.

The new AKONA glide-skin neck seal minimizes water entry and flushing of the suit. The neck of this AKONA wetsuit is flush-cut for this purpose. The arms and legs are finished with elastic binding for comfort. AKONA 3 mm Shorty is available in 9 sizes from SM to 5XL, and comes with a 24 month limited warranty.

    I am a bigger diver 5XL so finding wetsuits in my size is hard unless I go custom. This Akona on the other hand fits like a glove. The zipper is a little hard to pull up at first because it catches on something, but with a helping hand to get you started it's easy to get in and out of. I thought the size ran a little big, but the suit sucks in the slack whereever there would be a loose pocket. If you just need a suit for the pool or warm water diving this is a great value of a suit at very little cost.

      I'm a big guy (6'6" 320lbs, broad shoulders and 56" chest) and this shorty fits pretty good. Feels a little tight around the shoulders but should relax a bit after a few dives.
      Easy to get in and out. Some different colours would be nice but not a deal breaker. Might have to buy the wife one.

        Use this multiple times every week in the local pool (upper 70's) and it has held up great to the constant use. We've also had them wet in the Keys and Cozumel and they were enough to make a cool warm water dive comfortable.

              I have since switched to a Pinnacle Shorty as I find it more comfortable to wear, but the Akona is a fine wet suit. I had to buy a size larger in the Akona.
