DESCRIPTION
The convenient rolling mesh duffel bag is the perfect solution to the limited dive boat storage. AKONA has met the demand for a compact, lightweight mesh duffel bag with the convenience and comfort of a roller bag. The Mesh Roller Bag is available with features like a side zippered entry for easy access into the bag; zippered front compartment pocket, an adjustable length webbing handle with comfortable rubber grip. Bag has YKK Delrin zippers with brass sliders for durability and corrosion resistance.

Bag is manufactured from a durable combination of 300D Ramie and reinforced, abrasion resistant mesh. Bag has a drawstring top closure for easy packing and durable treaded wheels with reinforced wheel wells and corrosion resistant stainless steel hardware. If maneuvering the roller bag becomes difficult through a busy airport terminal or boat dock just slip into the padded adjustable shoulder straps with cross chest sternum strap and you're back on your way. Bag measures 14" x 15" x 29" (35.6 x 38 x 73.7 cm), has 6,090 cubic inches (99.8 liters) of volume and weighs 6 lbs 1 oz (2.75 kg). This bag delivers the ultimate gear bag solution. Bag comes with a 24 month limited warranty.

    Very roomy, has main compartment and one small inside pocket. Main pocket holds gear for 2 minus tanks:) Inside pocket holds save a dive kit, tools, and a few small things. Will hold your issued PADI logbook but nothing bigger. I took it to Cancun last week and it worked great. The airports were not so nice, I got a few small rips where the corners of the plastic frame touchs the outside material. For the price this should be fixed. In the airport I had this bag, my fullsize pull behind cloths bag and a carry-on. I had no trouble pushing my scuba gear infront and pulling the other two behind at DFW,TUL and Cancun. I also packed it to Cozumel and the caverns south of Playa Del Carmen, with gear for two, I was very glad to have this bag after my wife and I carried bags on our last trip and killed our backs and shoulders. We packed it to 50lbs for the airport and then added about 20 more for the dive. Seemed like 90-100lbs returning with wet-wetsuites and towels.

        Comments about Akona Boat Mesh Roller Duffel Bag (AKB554):

        Great bag which has heaps of room for all your kit and then some. While it's very large, because it's also collapsable, I haven't found the large side to be a negative issue.

        Using the wheels can prove a bit tricky however this is only to be expected with a wheeled duffel bag. If you want something that wheels exceptionally well you would probably have to buy a solid bag vice duffel bag. Having said that, with a very small amount of adjusting the wheels work just fine.

        A couple of the reviews have stated that the pockets aren't large enough. Personally I've found the one pocket on the outside and the large waterproof internal pocket ample.

        Used as travel and/or gear bag. Holds a lot of gear, easily enough for two divers who aren't gear nuts. However, quality of the bag is lacking. The outer cordura fabric has torn, the inner plastic tray broke on the second usage, and some of the rivets holding the wheels in place popped. Good concept but poor execution.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          Bag does everything its says it will do. Rolls great and holds lots of gear. It works great w/ dive boats loading and unloading gear. It drains completely dry. The handle could be alittle longer, but it's not bad.
